1-0 Reading
Cue more analysing of Liverpool's set-piece weakness. I've only watched the last ten minutes, but Reading have been bright and have played well so far.

This year Liverpool really dont know the defence, esp Liv's players are not good at timing and marking opponent teams' set pieces.

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round
Well I was almost right with my prediction but we managed to escape with a replay thankfully!
In the context of this season it was a pretty standard performance. No confidence, no ideas, hoofball from the defence and the least creative midfield in the FA Cup, never mind the Premier League.
Positives - Darby had a solid, committed game, made a few good interceptions/tackles. Always nice to see a local lad play well.
Ngog showed some nice movement and build up play but lacked end product - if he can get that right then he'll be a very good player.
Negatives - Dirk Kuyt was yet again woeful. Spent more time on the floor in the second half than doing anything of real purpose. Time to seriously consider playing Johnson on the right wing when he returns from injury.
Insua had a shocker, lost his discipline in the second half. This isn't Argentina son where you can roam from position, this is a tough cup fixture in Reading and he couldn't cope.
Aquilani, Gerrard and Lucas can't put more than a pass together which is a bit of a shame seeing as we have the world's best striker waiting for service.
We need to keep the ball for longer than 10 seconds against Spurs or we'll get hammered.

What about all the times he does score? I'm sure Messi misses a few from time to time but he's still the best player in the world.

I'm not disputing Torres' goalscoring record.
Messi is not the best player in the world.
Torres is not the best striker in the world. He isn't even the best striker in the Premiership.

Torres and Drogba are on par then, if you argue that anyone else is better than you're only thinking temporarily rather than permanently.

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round
I think he is talking about Eduardo Luis
We were pathetic as usual, but it was hardly a surprise once he lined up with Lucas / Aurelio / Kuyt in midfield with four hoofers behind them.
The logic for doing it doesn't exist so I won't waste anymore time wondering what Rafa is up to

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round
You were poor, but you still created two pretty good chances. The Kuyt cross in particular should have been a goal, but ladyboy fucked it up. Given his lack of fitness he's not as much of a threat with his pace and movement, so he's really there to finish moves off. Today was a faceplant of fail for him.

Who is then ? Messi won the ballon D'or by a clear mile. Also in the World XI for the last 3 years.
Torres beats Drogba IMO, better all round player

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round
Ronaldo is better than Messi - less skilfull (by a distance) but better and I hate Ronaldo (as a footballer not as a person).
Ronaldo is the best player in the world.
D.D.A. Drogbarr is the best striker.
Torres is a great finisher, great physical qualities but probably felt right at home v a Championship team in terms of ability.
I was suprised Liverpool played Torres and Gerrard.

It doesn't - you're just retarded thats all
He isn't one of the top 100 most skillful but how good you are is a combination of skill, height, strength, pace, mental strength, fitness etc.

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round
Ronaldo is like a hybrid of Torres and Drogba, that's why he's so effective. If Messi had their physical qualities he'd be the greatest footballer of all time.
