of course - this round does just involve the football league clubs outside of the premiership - with most games on tomorrow apart from tonights match

Saints currently 2-1 down to Peterborough at half time
Rasiak managing to score at both ends...
exact same shite as we had at Crystal Palace from the sound of things

Peterborough are favourites to go up from league 2. Ferguson spent tonnes back in January last year - £13m I think Yikes

They look willing to invest and obviously are going to take all cup competitions seriously

I think the £13m is what Darragh McAnthony actually spent to buy out Peterborough Utd Tweeds. He will invest a lot of money in the team to make sure they get promoted.

They have already bought some great new lower league talents like McLean and Boyd. I would put big money on them getting promoted.

I'm sure they spent a fortune back in January though. One of my mates that supports the Psh told me. so it must be true Wink

Wow easy tiger, they have spent some cash but nothing like £13m. Their biggest buys have been George Boyd £260k, Aaron McLean £150k, Josh Low was around £100k and Micah Hyde i think only cost about £75k, Craig Mackail-Smith cost £125k from Dag and Redbridge, whilst Keates and Westwood in th esummer were both free transfers. So all of those come to under £1m.

With Boyd, McLean and Mackail-Smith they have some veyr talented youngsters.

Posh were 9/2 to win prior to KO. I nearly put £20 on them but forgot about it. Rolling Eyes

Yeah thing is you only get 5/2 on them winning the league the bookies fancy them so much, whilst the likes of Darlo, Bradford and MK Dons are 8/1, 9/1. It would be a big shock if they didnt go up, but if thye continue as they have started they wont have to worry about that, they looked awsome on saturday and veyr good tonight.

Bad luck Rasiak, it has not been a good start to the season for Southampton. Hopefully your form will improve in the near future.

We just desperately need a player in the mould of a centre-back as we literally have none in the first team squad atm apart from Bennet who doesn't really count tbh

Also 14,000 at Carrow Road to see Norwich beat Barnet, thats a very good attendence when you compare it to other attendences tonight. 11,000 Sheff Utd, 10,000 WBA and are the only ones who come close.

Cardif got 3,000 vs Brighton which is terrible.

Terrific result for Morecambe. The place is a shithole (used to work there, and lived down the road in Lancaster for a long time), but the club is one of the few things going right in the place. Best of luck to them. Die, Prest-scum!

Well a possible f@ck-up nicely avoided for us, 3-1 to Saints away to Exeter.

5 c/ship teams out already at full-time - Barnsley, Charlton, Plymouth, Blackpool and Norwich all beaten.

Meanwhile Wolves, Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and Doncaster all still have to negotiate extra-time and possible penalties to get through.

EDIT:Wolves and Derby get through whilst Doncaster and Wednesday (on pens) go out after extra-time.

I wouldn't go that far, they had a fairly convincing win at the weekend although a promoted team at home isn't exactly the hardest start admittedly, unless your club's name begins with a D and ends in a Y.
