This reminds me of last season after the game at Stamford Bridge when everyone was saying how United were going to pummel Barcelona in the final.

As if teams are incapable of improving, or God forbid Chelsea have an off day.

Is he defending Spurs, or just being realistic?

Paddy is so levelheaded and intelligent, that's why he thinks Lennon is as good as prime Solano. Get the fuck out, it's you lot that are the deluded agenda pushers.

Interesting how we were free scoring when Lennon was in the team, and since his injury, we've now hit a dry patch.

Barcelona are better than United though and were all last season, no one disputed that. No one compares to Chelsea in this FA cup.

True, but it's cup football, and the better side does not always win.

Unless you think Reading are actually a better side than Liverpool

    Villa equalise (Petrov)

Prior to that, Speroni made the type of save that Given gets called "World Class" for.

BTW, Kimmy, what did you think of Given on Stoke's goal yesterday Question

I thought a defender should've won the header, it was a floating ball from deep from a throw in, which should be straight forward for someone that's good in the air. I don't think it is the keepers job to deal with those balls around the penalty spot.

What did you think about Gomes for todays goal? First he failed to come out to deal with Elmander, then he allowed a cross right under his nose.

    Chelsea - Man City/Stoke
    Fulham - Bolton/Spurs
    Reading/WBA - Palace/Villa
    Portsmouth - Birmingham

Warnock's having a real rant about the officials (just for a change). He has a point about the second Villa goal though, the corner that led to the goal should never have been given.

I think you've got confused somewhere down the line kimmy-

Have I ever said Lennon was better than Solano?

I'll answer this for you - no, although Lennon is only 22 and there is a distinct possibility he could go on and have a more successful career than Solano for sure.

Have I always maintained Lennon is a quality player who is very important for us? Yes. And for this you have derided me, TS, and come to think of it, all Spurs supporters. Despite proving again this season how much better we are when he is playing, and how he creates chances for us and gets us playing wide rather than long.

And as Jonas > Lennon, N Zogbia > Lennon.,Solano > Lennon, it's lucky that Newcastle have had so many quality wingers over the years so you should know just how important they are to a team Ale

A floating ball - not whipped in at pace - that he should've dealt with. But as usual, he retreated to his line and stood flat-footed as the header barely went by his left leg. Utter Guff Ale
