    One of Shrewsbury's local rivals, but always sad to see a team die. Hopefully the fans can succeed in forming a new Chester team, a la Telford/Wimbledon..

    Aye. Shows the massive, massive gulf when you go down a few divisions. There's mediocre players in the top flight getting paid that much every week to sit on the bench.

    Its always sad where something like this happens to a small club with a lot of heritage. I hope that the supporters manage to set up a phoenix to at least give the fans something to follow and keep football in Chester.
