The boy is dogshit stupid, but as I already said many times I still, and forever will, blame Mourinho, the club and the squad for all this.
The media and fan negative frenzy about him has been monumental, and it's their fault.
99,9% of the public fuss about Balotelli should have been confined in the locker room and never heard about outside.
Mou is very right that the little prick had to be educated, but all what he did for a year and half was humiliating him.
And the players... come on, I can understand being uber pissed about his behaviour in the Barca game, but what the fuck is kicking his butt and hanging his neck? Materazzi is double his age and should know better, but his brain is no bigger than Mario's.
It's also irritating from a player who's been fighting with hostile crowds, press and mates for most of his career, so he should know how is it. Beating him just keep making things worse.
Stankovic, who's a poster child for work ethic and team spirit, said it right after the match: "when a kid does wrong, you don't have to grab his neck. It's just not productive".
I don't want to get into what I think of Mourinho on this.
The prick usually never allows fan to watch training. You know when he decide to open the gates for the first time since months? Yeah right, in the first training session after the Barca tie. So ultras could come in and boo Mario for the whole morning.
What a wise grown up educator, Jose...
I hear ya, mate, and agree with most of your post specially the hopes we all had on Balotelli... I haven't felt this disappointed since the Adriano saga. Where I differ is that IMO the blame is mostly on young Balotelli's shoulders, not Mou or the club.
IMO sometimes Inter can be just too soft with their stars, and Moratti is usually guilty of that. With Balotelli, Inter have shown a lot of patience, and have tried a series of measures/tactics from carrot to the stick. Ultimately, its the immaturity of the player influenced perhaps by the wrong environment/company he keeps that is mostly to blame.
Yeah, Balotelli gets a lot of abuse from crowds. But there is NO EXCUSE for disrespecting the your club like that... a club which has supported you through a lot of turbulant times, and even if you think the club is not supporting you enough, its the club who pays your wages. Balotelli has repeatedly been unprofessional, and after a point IMO the club should cut their losses. He is just not worth it, inspite his immense talent. 19 is young, but you are not a child, so age is no excuse for such behaviour.
Its not just Materazzi who is pissed with Balotelli, from what I hear there are many more players who shouted at Mario in the tunnel that night.... it included the more "sensible" players like Stankovic & Chivu, and that shows how bad the situation currentky is... no wonder Balotelli was removed from the training session, I think he has broken his relationship with his teammates...
I don't care how badly this hurts us during this most crucial business end of the season, but I don't want to see Balotelli in an Inter shirt again.... infact I think Inter should just send him to play with the primavera for a year, just to teach him a lesson. There is nothing stopping us from doing that... unless we get a good swap deal (Hamsik, Vargas, Fanregas, etc)...
