I haven't watched much of City in the past couple of months...do they always have this negative, slow, uncreative, "safety-first" approach to all their games? Better sack Mancini this summer if that's the case, and give the new manager the transfer funds...because such a boring style will never keep the owners happy.

Not always, but most of the time they do. They don't lack attacking players, they just have a 'cover your ass' mentality in midfield which leads to very few risks being taken.

Barry has been pretty ordinary for them, not just given the fee but also given his prior level of performance at Villa and occasionally for England. Ireland seems to have fallen off the face of the planet, and Adebayor's spent most of the season getting sent off, injured and shot at.

this is Man City's inferiority complex performance, they're not usually this bad
