Yes, Marco Branca (the Inter director who does all the transfers) came over to meet us a day before the game, he is a good friend of one of my interlist mates... I shall never doubt my friend's "inside scoops" again!

Tho it is a bit encouraging to see Capello's reactions changing from "I have a contract till 2012" to the recent responses of "I am only focussed on the world cup"... now I work in a very politically astute environment (thats what I-banking has become), so maybe I am reading too much into this.... coz if Capello was working in my bank, that much change in phrasing would be considered as a confirmation!!

Congrats Inter, a well deserved CL winner.
Bayern's defence was not up to the task, that much was certain even before the match. Inter sticked to their game plan and executed it very effectively. When Inter scored first, I knew it was over for Bayern.
Bayern know themselves that they need to invest in the defence, should have done so in the beginning of the season already. Bayern under Van Gaal will remain a force in Europe in the coming years, I'm relatively confident about that.
