He is ahead of the rest of the wingers(one sided) in the squad.Kimbo wrote:Noah and the Bale wrote:Kimbo wrote:WOW, he took on Stephen Carr! The majority of that skill is pretty unexceptional, how many flicks do we need to see before we learn that he can do flicks, along with every other winger in the top 3 divisions?
I'd be interested to know who these wingers are. 2 wingers per team, 20 teams per division, 3 divisions - so roughly speaking Lennon is no better than 120 wingers in England. Shouldn't be diffcult for you to suggest to me at least 10 who have the same balance, skill and speed as Lennon.
I know you aren't a Lennon fan, but simply making things up when talking about him is going too far dammit. I am here to defend his honour, and if he were just a pace merchant I'd be the first to admit it Just because I sdupport Spurs doesn't mean I'm blind to the weaknesses of our players. Lennon offers much more than just pace, I stand by that

Stupid boy.
Your problem is you can't remember what i've said about him. I've NEVER seen him as a joke player, as you did with N'Zogbia, and i NEVER called him a pace merchant. I'll repeat what i said years ago, Lennon has great pace, very good close control, and good balance, BUT his passing and crosssing doesn't impress me at all(still) and his vision is average. If people are going to hype Lennon then i will disagree, don't put this down to ME having an anti-Lennon agenda, put this down to hype merchants having a PRO-Lennon agenda.
And yes, little flicks around the corner aren't exactly the height of technical football. It's a schoolyard trick, so don't expect me to be particularly excited about it.
he reminds of Eden Hazard without the technique/composure they have the same style of play
