English keepers and their kicking... Was hilarious this week when Blackburn pushed up for a Paul Robinson kick (not even a goal kick) in the 93rd minute only for him to boot it out of play.

And Robinson is one of the better ones as far as English keepers go, was shocking when he did that.
Turns out Allardyce can even turn keepers into mindless hoofers

Pretty unethical having the game on a friday night, it's a big fuck off to anyone not from London.

1 home game on a weekend Glenn, it was 4 last time. Changing games from saturdays and wednesdays to tuesdays and fridays doesn't exactly help the fans.

fancy Johnny Londonpants gets everything his own way. I imagine FIFA had this in mind when they decided that all the Euro 2012 qualification games be played on a Friday/Tuesday.
Nothing at all to do with giving players back to their clubs quicker, it's so that the Cockney's have their Saturdays free for pilates, wine tasting and scarf shopping.

You didn't know all the games were on a Friday Pot. Just admit you were wrong, give Glenn his biccie and sit back and enjoy Dawson, Gerrard and co

I'd have thought it'd be Milner on the left rather than Gerrard, but we shall see.
Would look better if Defoe was out and Johnson or Young was in..Walcott can play as a winger-striker. Defoe's not exactly in form. Bent would probably be a better shout if he wants 442..Cue Defoe scoring..

All Glenn did was slap his head. He's better at posting dog penises than offering an opinion.

Bent is NEVER a better shout
Gerrard is indeed in centre mid, about the take the game by the scruff of the neck etc etc....
Defoe score

Re: The Next England Squad
1907: Joe Hart's selection for England tonight, by the way, is cracking news for Shrewsbury - who net £500,000 from Manchester City due to a clause in their sale to the Premier League side based on international appearances. Happy days.
(although the fact they pay Yaya Toure that much every single week does make it look like peanuts!)

There aren't any English people living in Wembley anyway and it's a horrible place to try to get to. It's easier for people from Birmingham to get to than for people from the South.

Re: The Next England Squad
We'll always do ok against shit like this but the idea of a Walcott-Gerrard-Barry-Milner midfield in a tournament is frightening - esp with Dawson behind them.

Re: The Next England Squad
I remember going to a 0-0 between Reading and Watford at Elm Park in '95 and this Bulgarian keeper's dad was in goal for Reading.
He was more famous for having a dreadful hair transplant than he was for his goalkeeping.
Its definitely genetic and I'd say his son will need to call The Belgravia Centre in a year or 2 if he keeps progressing at this rate...

Walcott = pace
Milner = grit and determination
Johnson = quality
I wonder which one will get left out v Switzerland

Re: The Next England Squad
I think we can have all three. Or at least some variation on the small fast black winger. Provided it isnt Wirght-Phillips.
It is nice having an English player who can dribble. It really is a once in a generation thing - Waddle, Cole, Johnson.
