In case you're wondering where the representatives of the endless conveyor belt are: they had their asses whooped 3-0 by Holland (basically Feyenoord U19).

1 Álex (GK)
2 Martín Montoya
3 Carles Planas
4 Marc Bartra
5 Jorge Pulido
6 Oriol Romeu
7 Keko (C)
8 Thiago Alcántara
9 Rodri
10 Sergio Canales
11 Daniel Pacheco (the "Cesc". ie. left the club as a youngster)
Subs:
13 Aitor (GK)
12 Hugo Mallo
14 Iker Muniain
15 Ramiro Mayor
16 Ezequiel Calvente
17 Koke
18 Rúben Rochina
That's a relatively strong team by Spain - Canales of course is the big star, but Munian has also been playing regularly for Athletic in the past season and is their next big hope.

Spain 2-1 Portugal
Liverpool striker Daniel Pacheco scored twice for Spain as they progressed to the semi-finals. Ruben Pinto had levelled for Portugal.
Italy and Croatia played out a 0-0 draw.

Watched the England v Holland match. Seems when in doubt the FA selectors opt for the tallest bloke. Seems they're in doubt a lot.Cesc Soler wrote:England lost against the Dutch 1-0 and need to beat France next to go through to the semi-finals. France thrashed Austria 5-0 earlier today.
