Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor wants to leave the club. Adebayor told Tuttosport,

“I am sorry to leave the Premier League, but in Europe there are other top leagues … Juventus are a great club in which I would like to play.

“Until some time ago I would not have accepted a transfer to other clubs. I wanted to wear the City shirt and have a better season compared to last year, but I know there will not be many chances for me and so I am considering the many offers I have received.”

ROBINHO has pleaded with Roberto Mancini: Don't bring me back to Eastlands.

The £32.5million Manchester City striker ended his six-month loan spell at Santos with victory over Vitoria in the Copa Brazil final on Wednesday.

And he insisted: "My heart is here and I want to stay, but I have to talk to City.

"I don't want this to be my last experience with Santos.

"But over the past months I haven't spoken with Mancini and I don't know what his intentions for me are.

"I've got to get to Manchester to personally convince him and the City directors that the best solution would be to let me stay here until the end of the year.

"It all depends on them - my deal is with them."

Santos president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira said: "Robinho's future depends on City and God. But we will fight for another loan."

Robinho, whose City contract runs until 2013, scored as Brazil lost 2-1 to Holland in the World Cup quarter-finals last month.

The 26-year-old striker is due to play for his country again in a friendly against the USA in New Jersey next Tuesday.

I'm rather more worried about the meltdown at my own club Sad

Smile this thread pleases me as it shows how worried u*d fans are about us. It also highlights how misguided they are. Ade has already denied the story and stated that he wants to be part of the future of the club. Robinho wants to leave....well thats ok and fair enough cos he cant make it into our first team.

Bellamy is the funniest of the all cos he actually said he wants to stay and loves playing for the club and is sad cos he thinks he might not make it into the 25...which means its our choice he ges so how can we be in meltdown. I hope Bellers stays but i think Mancio wants Balotelli instead.

Nice try lrd but sadly for u*d we are hardly in meltdown, we dotn have any problems and they are certainly not increasing....the only thing thats increading is your debt.

I am bothered about Robinho its a shame but if he isnt happy there is nothing that cant be done f he snt happy and wants first team place. Im very sad if bellers goes as will be prob 90% of cty fans so i dont get your point?
How many games have chelsea won in pre season ? does this make them shit ?

Yeah you cant spend much cos your in huge debt, but at least your have a flood of top quality youth players (who should i put my money on Wellbeck or Marcheda for golden boot ?) coming through and Smalling looks a snip at 10m <Ale>

Lets just see mate, you can talk all you want but the gap between is is closing all the time if you like it or not. Your still at quality team dont get me wrong but i think we are catching you all the time cos as we grow stronger i think your starting to decline slowly but surley...Hernandes looks decent though.

    Post by L r dd Wed Aug 11, 2010 4:35 am

CRAIG BELLAMY had a furious row with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini back in February - and says he has not spoken a word to the manager since.

Not only that, the Welsh striker claims he is not the only player at Eastlands to be cold shouldered by the Italian.

Bellamy, 31, has been nursing a knee injury and has hardly featured in pre-season while players such as Brazilian flop Jo have been playing regularly.

The £10million signing from West Ham said: "I haven't spoken to the manager since February.

"There are a number of players, like Carlos Tevez and me, who he doesn't speak to and keeps us away.

"I'm not sure if it's personal. Maybe it's the way he deals with things and it's his manner.

"But I've got a fair indication of what they all think, though, as I've had 80 minutes in pre-season.

"I've even seen players not part of the club over the last three years get more minutes than me."

During City's recent tour of the USA, Bellamy indicated he wanted to stay with City and fight for his place.

With his age and a series of knee problems against him, he felt remaining at Eastlands was his best chance of winning silverware.

But Bellamy is now eyeing the exit door and claims he is not short of offers - with Spurs and Wolfsburg showing an interest.

A reunion with Mark Hughes at Fulham or a move to hometown club Cardiff also appeal, although it is doubtful either could get near his current £90,000-a-week wages.

Bellamy added: "There's been two clubs in the top seven who have tried to get me.

"Man City obviously want me to go, but not to one of their rivals.

"I've turned down Wolfsburg - they are the only club they tried to push me into.

"City wanted Edin Dzeko so they were pushing for a deal and wanted me to go the other way. But I've had my most offers ever and felt more wanted elsewhere.

"It's obvious Spurs have tried for me but Man City have declined."

Mancini will name his 25-man Premier League squad at the end of this month and Bellamy fears the worst, even though he claims he would like to stay.

The Welshman said: "If I'm not on the list, which is unlikely, then the only games I will get are with the reserves.

"I'm so committed to where I am and with the new players coming in I'm driving to stay here.

"But that's unlikely to happen. I've just come back after my best year in football.

"I got double figures in goals and double figures in assists and that's all as a midfielder. Enough said."

Bellamy hopes his former Wales, Blackburn and City boss Sparky might be able to raise the funds to take him to Craven Cottage.

He added: "If you look at my form with Mark Hughes I don't just become a good player, I become one of the top players in the Premier League. He gets the best out of me.

"Cardiff is another possibility. I've always wanted to play for them and my wife and kids live there."

There does seem to be big problems behind the scenes at City as there are so man big egos who are not going to be happy about not playing. This is something which Mancini faces a hard task all season trying to sort out, keeping everyone happy is not easy and will only get worse the more players he brings in.

Bellamy certainly seems to be on his way out, and would not be surprised if a lot of people follow him before the end of the month.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Stephen Ireland has been left “distraught” and “embarrassed” by Manchester City’s insistence that their 2009 Player of the Year trains with the reserves.

The well informed newspaper reports that Roberto Mancini’s first team coach David Platt informed the 23-year-old, who has been linked with moves to Aston Villa and Fulham, to train with Manchester City’s reserves at their Carrington training complex because he was not part of the Italian’s 25-man Premier League squad.

The newspaper quotes a source that suggests Ireland looked “distraught and was left scratching his head” following a ten minute exchange with Platt, which resulted in the midfielder being walked to the reserves’ training pitch.

The onlooker told the Manchester Evening News: “He looked a bit embarrassed training with the reserves and was certainly not whole-hearted, not surprising as he was player of the year just two years ago.”

Ireland is reportedly demanding a £2 million payoff from his current employers as Manchester City endeavour to complete the signing of Aston Villa’s James Milner, and yesterday, Mancini urged Ireland to leave Eastlands.

The Italian told Sky Sports News: “Stephen Ireland is a good player but he has been here all his life and he needs to change,

"Sometimes it can happen that a player stays with the same squad for 15 years and plays well but a moment arrives when he needs to change.

"Now is time for him. I really think he can improve."

Do Manchester City fans have sympathy for Stephen Ireland? Is Mancini right to segregate Ireland from the players selected in his 25-man squad? Have your say in the comments section below.

Adebayor is the last player you want to leave unhappy and on the bench, they got rid of one potential problem in Bellamy but Adebayor could still cause a similar stir.

He made quotes about wanting to go to Serie A last month, maybe Juventus can make a move.
