I am actually pleasantly surprised how well Inter have played so far.... we have defended decently well against a superior attack, baring a coupla unpunished episodes, and have created a larger amount of good chances... we should ve converted at least 1 of them, or got that legit penalty - I fear this lack of goal may end up costing us the game.

The game so far is very similar to the final, the only thing missing is Milito.

United are impossible to watch as ever so switched to Bayern Inter with Bayern looking comfortable against the Eto show.

Yep! Inter have got back into the game nicely. Enjoying better possession than before and look the more likely to score.

inter was only scary with eto and snjeider, two truly world class players, a really team performance was non existent in inters attack

A strange formation - like the Xmas tree but Cambiasso and Zanetti were playing quite wide, i guess to try and cover Robben and Ribery. Still would have made more sense to leave Cambiasso in the middle and put Motta out wide.

4-2-3-1 would have been the better option as you said. It worked in last years CL perfectly, even if Inter do not have the players that perfectly fit the formation. 4-3-2-1 / 4-3-1-2 is just too narrow for the CL.

Probably because Eto'o and Sneijder were the only attacking players fielded by Leonardo (Stankovic is more a CM). He was too conservative in his lineup, especially for a home game.
