Dzeko should be signing in the next week the deal is £25m then a further £4.2m if we get in the champs league. I think its a decent deal and i think he will do very well. RSC is expected to go to Lazio and i expect Ade to leave as well.

Stoke City have completed the permanent signing of Jermaine Pennant from Real Zaragoza for an initial £1.7m. The value of the transfer could rise to £2.8m in the future. He signs a two-and-a-half year contract.

You getting any money for RSC and Ade Goat or is it just a straight £45m write off
I don't think I've ever seen Dzeko play. Hopefully you finally sign a striker with a decent attitude who might stick around for a while.

I am surprised by City's interest in Dzeko. While he does suit Mancio's style, you already have Balotelli & Adebayor (apart from Santa Cruz & Jo, who you will probably get rid of...)... Does that mean Ade is out too? Or is the plan to use Tevez & Balotelli as wingers?Sgoater1 wrote:

Oh well, Mancini does have endless cash to spend, it doesn't really matter I guess. It's like football manager.

tbf, Dzeko is not jsut another facking striker.... if he moves to a top club, he has the potential to become a world class striker... I guess Mancio is not confident about Ade, maybe Inter should sneak in a bid or a loan move with a option to buy.
It has come to this, Inter would be happy with City rejects

To be fair, if Adebayor is available there should be a lot of very credible clubs interested in him. City was obviously the wrong place and/or wrong time for him, but he's still got masses to offer as a striker.

Re: January Transfer Window 2011
Tottenham signed Bongani Khumalo couple of months ago, he'll join as soon as the window opens.
Centre back that did well for South Africa in the world cup last summer.
Price said to be £1.500.000, there's a partnership deal between Spurs and his former club SuperSport

We should certainly be in for Ade with Roy persisting with 4-4-2 in every game

Ade will be leaving, i think Mancini isnt a fan of him and wants someone with more workrate upfront. It will be Bal, Tevez and Dzeko with Jo as 4th choice, excellent fire power.

i know, couldnt believe it by myself
from all english players i rate him the most, very gifted, he has the perfect skills for a winger (pace, dribbling, passing, drive into the box, wide shots), shame that italien coaches dont like that sort of players, because they dont know them from there homecountry lol

Johnson is good but over rated, dont get me wrong he is an exciting prospect and i really rate him but he isnt better than Bale and isnt as good as everyone raves on about. Mancini is right to keep on him the bench, he is normally better when he comes off it.

i dont know, maybe you right
but when i watched city games he always made the difference and was the best player
he can create danger when teams parking the bus, while bale needs the half of the field for his runs to create danger

Johnson is a good player with lots of potential he just needs to learn to make different decisions and pick the right passes etc but it will call come in time.

Anyone know anything about Sylvain Marveaux from Rennes
He was in our director's box tonight to watch that feast of football and is about to become the latest man to attempt to be a winger for us

If there's one player who can turn our season around it's Carlton Fucking Cole. The Cole rumours are really persistent, like the rumours linking us with Poulsen last year, so I’m guessing there’s quite a lot of truth in them. He’s alright but we’re not exactly reaching for the stars with that transfer are we? Another mediocre player for our increasingly mediocre team.

I was folowing some conversations about him on twitter during the game. Impression I got from various reports was that he's a shit Florent Malouda.
Under 25 and available on a Bosman so as long as we don't go paying him £90,000 p/w the more the merrier. He's apparently quite injury prone but any competition for the Konchesky/Kuyt/Maxi/Cole shitstorm is welcome as far as I'm concerned. Otherwise it's the hope that Huth replaces Carragher who in turn replaces Konchesky.
