2 shots against Carragher's hand. 1 was dodgy and could have been a penalty. The other was from about 2 foot away and he didn't even move his arm...

Yeah. But he wasn't offside, and Agger was. Which, not only null and voids the initial foul, but explains why agger was tackling from behind. If he was playing him onside he wouldn't have been 2 yards behind him and making up ground, would he?
