Is this forum dead? The 2 best players in the world, the 2 teams who scored 4 against the world champions, Di Maria, Nani, Gaitan, Quaresma, Mascherano, Meireles, Zanetti, Coentrão... just to name a few and no thread?

Friendlies don't often get their own thread.
But yeah the forum is pretty dead. If you post more often, it'll be less dead

I'm looking forward to the game, likewise with Brasil-France + Germany-Italy. Shame they all start at near enough the same time.
On paper, Portugal have a better defence, Argentina are much, much stronger in midfield though. I believe they intend to start with Masche, Cambi + Banega, with Messi, Lavezzi and Di Maria up front.

From what I know I will be watching it as well.
Question - I know that this game was moved from The Emirated to Switzerland, but why this match was going to happen in London at all?

Well, it was a nice game. Good chances for both sides but it was a friendly and the substitutions downed the game's quality. It's good to see Portugal's games again, after those dark Queiros times...
I only noticed Moutinho was playing around minute 15 or so...

Very enjoyable game to watch, can't believe Almeida missed his chance in 2nd half
Overall Argentina's play looks much more structured and better organized than during WC, but still it's weird to see Messi playing deeper than Banega when the build up starts. Still don't know who Rojo is, Juan Martinez is another mystery for me.
Coentrao was surprisengly quiet for his standards, probably some credit has to go for Di Maria for that.

Messi v Ronaldo stats: Goals 1-1; Shots 5-5, on target 3-2; Assists 1-0; Passes 73-13, accurate 69-10; Successful dribbles 4-2
