    Saturday, 2 April 2011
West Ham v Man Utd, 12:45
    Birmingham v Bolton, 15:00
    Everton v Aston Villa, 15:00
    Newcastle v Wolverhampton, 15:00
    Stoke v Chelsea, 15:00
    West Brom v Liverpool, 15:00
    Wigan v Tottenham, 15:00
    Arsenal v Blackburn, 17:30

    Sunday, 3 April 2011
    Fulham v Blackpool, 13:30
    Man City v Sunderland, 16:00

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With 6 points seperating 11th from 20th there are so many crucial games every week which makes this league one of the most interesting in a long while.

The top is still quite close as well should Chelsea and Arsenal win their games in hand and that fourth CL spot looks like it might go down to the wire with Spurs and City again chasing it with Liverpool perhaps just a bit too far behind.

I think this could be a good weekend for Arsenal being at home whilst United and Chelsea face tough away games. West Ham are most certainly on the up so they'll provide a test for United but it's in games like these where United have been so clinical down the years.

The closeness of the bottom half is summed up by the fact that a Wolves win would put them just a point behind Newcastle and drag them really into the relegation dog fight.

Liverpool come up against Woy Hodgson for the first time since his magnificent stint with us, if he managed to get one over on us I'd probably cry.

You kinda make me want WBA to win, even though it'd be bad for Villa Erm

We really need to get something at Everton. They've got a few key players out and I'd like to think likes of Young, Downing, Bent will come back confident. And at least Collins should be back (wonder if Dunne will get near the squad now he's fit Erm ). I still don't expect much given the abomination vs Wolves.

No doubt Roy will play his 9-1-0 formation so it will be tough to break down but our 3 forwards are all in good form for club and country and Gerrard may be returning although we'll have to play Carragher right back with no Kelly and Johnson may have to play left back because there's no Aurelio.

Everton aren't up to much this season, they're just waiting for it to end so I think Villa have a good chance. Having said that, once everyone turns on the manager there's only one direction you can go and it aint up <Ale>

    --------------------Caroll--------------------------------

Would do me for tomorrow. I'd be concerned about the fullbacks playing in unpreferred positions if I knew Roy would set up to attack but I know he'll be looking for a famous point. Hope we don't suffer from the international break as a win here and dropped points for Spurs and/or City would make things very interesting.

WOnt be easy for us cos Sunderland have done well away at Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal but im hoping we will be to strong for them. Plus now is not the time for inept lack lusture performances we must get 3 points to maintain our push for top 4. Come on the baggies, would love to see Woy get one over the bindippers.

Seeing we are habitually crap after international breaks, taking nothing for granted. Miraculously all our internationals appear to have come back more or less unscathed; however I doubt if we'll start with VanP or Walcott against Thugburn. Not sure how much Chamakh played (and he'd have had a fair amount of travelling to do as well) but I'd have him to start upfront w/ VanP coming on in the last 20 minutes.

    Manuel

Bac- Kos - Squillacci - Clichy

    Song - Wilshere

    Fab

    Nasri - Rosicky

    Chamakh

    This from Guardian's Fiver column today;

"Can someone talk me thru what I'm seeing? Ronaldo sold to Spain for 160mill?? Does that mean he can jus change country and play for Spain?" - QPR midfielder Wayne Routledge takes to Twitter upon hearing that Cristiano Ronaldo had been 'sold' to Spain in a bid to aid Portugal's economic recovery, as reported in this morning's Independent.

    "Ok, ok..." #aprilfools #gotme" - Routledge, 10 minutes later.

    "If I make mistakes I'm sorry, I'm only human ..." - Routledge's Twitter bio

Evra handles in the box and Noble converts the penalty to give West Ham an early lead. I suspect that Fergie will have a few comments on refereeing decisions later today. Smile

It is rather enjoyable seeing refs treating United games fairly. Makes for a very pleasant change.

    Has his uses though.

The application of this rule is so inconsistent. Vidic gets a yellow there, yet Koscielny was sent off for a foul 35 yards from goal on the wing earlier this season.

    Spoke too soon.

Why do people rate Vidic so highy?

Its obvious he is clearly protected by better defenders, ManU's defensive game and the referees. Terry used to be mocked for GEMPA ( Very Happy ) but Vidic is realy the one with the protection agency...

Great play by Rooney, you have to say. Could question defence on both goals, but he's singlehandedly levelled this match.
