A Tribute to Matrix!

He has been quite unpolular outside of Italy, not very popular inside either... often derided, even by Inter fans, for his clumsiness on the pitch... but now that his career comes to a close, as an Inter fan, you cannot help but remmeber him fondly.... for his feirce loyalty, undying commitment and giving his mind, body and soul on the pitch.

Last few years, he has been more of an ultra than a player, a lucky mascot for Il Grande Inter II. Here is a fitting tribute to the player.

Matrix, you will be missed.

Highlight of his career was kicking Sheva in the balls (not that I have anything against the latter, i just thought it was funny how he got away with something so blatent).

But seriously he had a couple of brilliant seasons at Inter (01/02 and 06/07) and very solid partnership with Cordoba during the last 10 years or so.
