Not sure about that. Last report I read said the only fit midfielders are Rosicky, Ramsey & they'll probably have to play Djourou DM. Vermaelen might be missing too. and having played midweek hardly helps them. It's surely the absolute ideal time to be hosting Arsenal.

Man City at Spurs is the interesting one. First real test for them this season. Spurs having had opener cancelled and losing last week will be very keen to get something from that. There is a danger that both will settle for a draw - will Mancini go back to playing for 0-0 every time he's away at a strong side?

For Villa, fixtures been kind to start the season - need to be getting the points in games like this, as much harder times will come. Wolves being local derby ain't easy of course.

this kind of mindset is what I'm worrying since our team consist of many young players

But they are young players trying to convince Ferguson to keep them in the team. Shouldn't be too much danger of complacency, as they'll know they'll be in danger of losing their spot the moment they have a bad game.

For us the result is immaterial. First priority is to get through the match wthout further injuries and suspensions. it's s**t but it's like that at the moment. I predict a comfortable 3 - 0 for Utd.

Manchester United have more injuries than Arsenal. Presumably Wanger hasn't signed anybody of note because he has faith that his current squad is good enough. Almond Traore could be back and let's not forget Joel Campbell, Ryo Miyaichi, Alex Oxtail-Chambermaid and the old new-Vieira: Abou Diaby.

2nd week in a row that I see players of an English team run screaming at the ref and surround him to protest decisions. And the commentators/fans have nothing to say about it. But when Barça do it, the moral police are out in force. Hypocrisy Ale

imagine if players of an English club feigned injury or exaggerated the consequences of a challenge to the extent Barca players do, they'd be laughed out of the country.

    Victim Complex <Ale>

A good finish from Chelsea like last week but they have the same basic predictable problems. Hopefully AVB understands that they have to get Modric if they want to be more competitive. Mata looked good coming and kept the tempo up by unleashing the ball after only 1-2 touches which was much needed. Also a very calm and composed finish by him. He will be something of a goalthreat in a way Malouda has never been. Despite that the problems with the central midfield are too big to be solved up front. Ramires had some good runs today but otherwise it was the same lackluster and stale midfield that sits too deep. Lukaku looked even stronger than expected and had a decent debut as well. Also was well impressed with Norwich's play throughout the game. They played bravely with the ball and had no problem trying to keep it even under pressure. It could be that Chelsea's midfield was so poor and disjointed today but their passing game looks promising.

I heard from a pretty reliable, non-partisan source that the fee was only £25 million as an initial, non-dependent sum, to be paid in various installments over the next however-so-many number of years; but that it could rise to £30 million upon the fulfillment of various clauses, matches played, honours attained, petitions signed, etc.

For, say, £20 million or so, judging on today's performance - a goal, and what should have proved an assist after a first-time pass for Suarez - Henderson would have been a good buy. However, for the £30 million quoted I think his purchase has to be considered decadent; and the player himself must be considered an abject flop.
