They think they're better than they are and demand to be amongst the best when in reality they're just shite and are lucky not to be in the championship.

It's like Real Madrid over the last few years expecting every manager they get to produce immediate miracles. It ain't going to happen.

Obispo...........Makes sense......... As long as they have a fan base and making money they dont care enough to create higher expectations from the fans.... They know they can fill the gates either way the game goes....

Sibierski came on because Roeder likes to play with one "big man" who can head the ball and another to play off him. Which is why Sibierski was brought on for Ameobi, and Rossi only for Martins.

IMO the first problem with Newcastle that needs to be sorted is the injury issue. For some reason there's always an injury crisis, a fully fit squad is almost never available. Something's going on with the training regime, it's really strange. And then of course the usual problem with the manager, which again, as has been said many times before, is probably due to Shepherd and his inconsistency regarding supporting his manager.

We have the same problem, we get at least 7 injuries to major players in training every season.

Rossi looked good when he came on perhaps Roeder could have partnered him with Martins, with their speed they could have caused Everton a bit more problem.

I can understand that and I suppose I'm being selfish because I wanna see more of Rossi, however surely he could of tried it at least?

I mean Siberski is such an average player. Neutral

Goood point about the injuries - In our Pre-Jol days there was a running joke about the Tottenham Treatment table.
    ---------------------------------------

I thought Sibierski wasn't even a targetman. Man City almost always employed him as an attacking Midfielder coming from the left.

Ah well, it must have been Shearer's idea Smiley Milner needs to get chalk on his boots &... ah what's the point.

This is where I have to question Roeder.

Its not like they are a crossing side, Milner is the only one who gets wide and even he cuts in alot. So why the hell do they need a target man, a very average one at that. Rolling Eyes

He claimed credit for tactical nous that in fact produced an offside goal that never should have stood. That's like me robbing a bank and then buying a big house with the proceeds, inviting the press round to see it and telling them how hard I worked and therefore how much I deserved it.

He's an absolute idiot. I'm amazed that he's lasted this long.

What a shockingly bad game of football that was.

I pretty much fell asleep by halftime.

    Pompey deserved a point.

Bolton - SO frigging boring, I hope they get relegated for someone that actually plays with a bit of veuve
