Zenit, Spartak, CSKA cheers , Lokomotiv and Anzhi all won - expect they will be the top 5.

Corluka scored the winner for Lokomotiv.

Lacina Traore scored the winner for Goose against his old club Kuban Krasnodar.

    Dynamo lost, Rubin play tomorrow.

Kerzhakov scored 2 v Amkar Rolling Eyes

Pierre you are forgetting Dnyamo Moscow, they finished above Anzhi last year who I feel are overrated because they have Eto.Also Rubin Kazan and are a good team.So much quality in this league nowadays.

    71' [2 - 0] D. Criscito

FT Amkar Perm [3 - 1] CSKA Moscow

    6' [1 - 0] N. Burmistrov

    13' [1 - 1] K. Honda

    19' [2 - 1] A. Rebko

    41' [3 - 1] A. Rebko

    61' S. Ignashevich Red Card

    85' A. Dzagoev Red Card

    FT Lokomotiv Moscow [2 - 0] Krylya Sovietov S.

    32' [1 - 0] R. Pavlyuchenko

    67' [2 - 0] F. Caicedo

    CSKA Doh Grr No

Can't give Zenit a 3 pt lead that easy.

Dynamo have 0 from 6 - maybe Lokomotiv and Anzhi will be the most serious challengers - or maybe Spartak.

Lokomotiv have no European football so that may be an advantage.

    Wow !

Zenit v Spartak - the only 2 teams with 100% record (Spartak top on GD) meet in St Petersburg and Zenit smash them 5-0 !

Mad few mins in the 2nd half - Spartak get a fortunate pen at 0-2 - Malafaev saves from Bilyaletdinov and Criscito (who played brilliantly) makes an amazing clearance before Zenit score soon after then McGeady straight red !

I hope this isn't going to turn into a boring title race - I think Rubin are the best hope now.

They are definitely most likely to trouble Zenit in a head to head and Rondon could be a great signing, they are still a great big game team, just too blunt in attack at times.

90/100 million for the two apparently. Witsel is an awesome player, but the equally talented Dembele just moved for half the price.

Witsel is a good player, the one that made that horrible tackle a few years back, but 40 million is insane for him.

Second Belgian that moves for 40 million this summer.

Oooooooooooo very excited about this,we have just bought 2 top players that other big clubs in Europe have wanted.A signal of intent if ever there was one.

Now I feel the need to outline our strongest 11,it would be rude not to!

    -------------------Malafeev
    Anyukov---Hubočan---Lombaerts---Criscito
    ------------Witsel----------Denisov
    --Hulk--------------Danny------------Bystrov
    -------------------Kerzakhov

With players like Bruno Alves(who hasn't lived up to expectations and I hear he will have to be sold if Spalletti wants money to buy another CB),Shirokov(Great player),Semak(Legend),Bystrov(quality winger who is fast as fuck),Bukarov(Big CF) and Zyranov(dynamic midfielder) etc we have a GREAT SQUAD which could possibly go deep into the CL,although not good enough to win it.

Last year if Malafeev our first choice GK weren't injured we would have beat Benfica and got to the QF's,and who knows we could have beat a shite Chelsea team.

And before people started naming us alongside scum like City and Chelsea in terms of spending please take note that the previous 4 transfer windows we haven't bought anyone apart from Arshavin on loan.

To pick a strongest Zenit XI without Shirokov is ridiculous.

Danny - he will start from the left in the position you have Bystrov and drift inside.

Kerzhakov is technically and physically crap but quite clever - he will pull to the left taking defenders with him and the AM will arrive in the centre. Shirokov is big, strong and can finish with both feet - a must pick in that position unless they buy better.

Ones in bold need to be replaced if they are to make a serious CL attempt.

Need some athletic FB's to overlap Hulk and Danny.

    Terek Grozny's last 5:

    Terek 2-0 Volga
    Dinamo 1-2 Terek
    Terek 2-1 Spartak
    Rubin 1-2 Terek
Zenit 0-2 Terek - Nice debut for Hulk and Witsel

    affraid

3pts clear - never seemed to spend that much despite high profile takeover (eclipsed by Anzhi)

Just shows what can happen when u get rid of Gullit!

No Black players for Zenit fans!

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2249569/Zenit-St-Petersburg-fans-demand-non-white-gay-players.html

Now, I dont know any gay players, though im sure there are some. But there are sure some black players out there. In their eyes Hulk is also black. The thing is, they dont want blacks out of racism, not out of footballing reasons.
