You have to feel sorry for Mr Alex Ferguson this morning. Clearly 4 minutes of injury time plus 90 minutes of normal time isn't a reasonable or fair amount of time to win a football match.......in his opinion

He claimed that the 6 subs were worth 3 minutes on their own, but Rooney came on before the start of the 2nd half and Dawson and Hernandez came on at the same time. So that's only 2 minutes. 3 goals = Another 1 minute 30, so that left 30 seconds for various other things. There we no injury breaks either.
We rode our luck and Nani should have had a penalty in the 1st half but we've had so many things go against us at Old Trafford over the years that karma was due.

rode our luck? You didn't ride your luck, you curled up into a little ball and hid quietly in the boot of your luck, hoping no one would find you until it was over. When League One Leeds beat Manchester at Old Trafford a couple of years ago in the cup they rode their luck. Tottenham's performance in the last half hour was embarrassing and if anything it goes to highlight how shit this Fergie side is.

We utterly bossed them in the first half. No luck about it.
Second half final 20 minutes was a team with 23years of history being carried on its shoulders. I couldn't give a fuck how we beat them in the end, all that matters is we did. Lost count of the number of games we "should have" won against United. Typical Spurs and all that, soft underbelly.
Not yesterday. Ferguson crying about added time just makes it all the sweeter.
Arsenal - mind the gap

Happy to see all that early Arsenal hype has evaporated.
Going to challenge for the league are we Wenger.
Oh and sell Diaby NOW.

Spurs were absolutely wank IMO. Pity United were awful and played pensioners.

Shit defending. We always seem to lose to these numpties.
Interesting that Bent benched. No-one really secure of spot with Lambert. He's compared to DISGRACE, but he couldn't be more different in this respect.

has Darren Bent proved Lambert was right or wrong to start with him on the bench?

Nothing. The only worldly good that comes from this result is that there are less likely to be West Brom fans posting 'Boing, boing' on various forums, as they have a demented tendency to do when they win.

a 30 minute item about Villa v WBA is possible...who would have thought that.
Gutted we lost to Spurs the other day, but like I have said on redcafe many times before our central midfield is just appalling. Still, losing to them is a disgrace, the last time the Berlin wall was still standing ffs. And again, RVP was foolish to join a team that is not really better then his previous one.

Clearly there is a pattern, Demba will handle things from Aug-Dec, Papiss from Jan-May.

Great goal. We have issues though. We've been buying players to play a passing game when it is obviously something Pardew can't employ. I'm wondering if we can sign Carroll in January.
