Is this what's considered success for Liverpool these days? You realise you're doing the same thing with Suarez that people did with Cisse last season, caking yourself after a good run in front of goal?
As for us, we're shit, Pardew stumbled across something that worked last season but it's clear he's not a good manager. People are pointing at the fact we didn't strengthen in the summer, it's a factor but it doesn't excuse the lack of tactics. It's a shame we're one of those clubs that only ever goes for British managers, it means there aren't really any options out there, if we were to cancel his 8 year contract I mean.
We know players like Williamson and Tulisa's boyfriend aren't up to it, they probably belong in the championship. But then there's Gutierrez whose legs have pretty much gone at this point, and Cabaye who is probably the most overrated player we've had at the club in my lifetime. I felt his performances last season were overhyped, but I let him off as I thought he was adjusting to the league.
Santon's pretty good though.
