Tony Pulis on Soccer Saturday is hilariously bad at the job. Couldn't see who scored at Old Trafford so just stopped talking... Jeff just asked him how the game was going and he just sat staring at his monitor as he didn't hear Jeff..

Re: Premier League 29-30 November
playing the best we have all season & Joe Cole deserved his goal 'cause he's been best player on pitch. Only Burnley, like, but we really need a win & a positive performance.

We can pick on just about any commentator on TV for their stupidity and lack of football knowledge but let's shine the spotlight on a Welsh guy. We know the majority don't like the Welsh so it's a safe pick.

EASY CA$$$$$$$$$$$$HHHHHHHHH, a gimmie if there's one. The definition of a sycophant against his old boss sluralex. What a yes man he is. Against Moyes he told his team to play hard. van Gaal's impressive resumé and seemingly control now at Man Utd. were clear indicators that Bruce was gonna bend over once again and take it in the ass for the easy CA$$$$$$$$HHHHHH for anyone who sees the BS.
During halftime in the Liverpool game I saw a stat that the racist/xenophobic media generally shows to portray blacks and foreigners as doing "poorly" and it was Skrtel's turn: 0 shots on goal and 0 shots on target.
WTF! why stop there? they should've just shown everyone goalie stats and that he didn't make any saves or blocked any shots.
The guy is keeping a clean sheet at halftime and they don't show his defensive production, they put on the screen that he had no shots on goal.

Firstly.. Didn't even realise he was Welsh...... Secondly, all of these pundits get shit on regularly, I've never seen Pulis on it before.. Thirdly, have you even fucking seen him?
He was asked to speak and literally sat in silence staring at his monitor...

Re: Premier League 29-30 November
We were playing the best football in weeks and Rodgers just re-arranged the whole team to accommodate Gerrard.
With him on the pitch our defense is good to concede a goal at home. Stoke are good to score a goal on the road, but Lucas and Allen were doing a superb job protecting the defense AND Lucas was also providing some attacking threat as well; cherry on the cake.
Now Rodgers took out our best player (Lucas) who had glued the team and brought in Gerrard. Oh dear! The game is on the line, but Rodgers has invited trouble.

Never going to win again it seems. think we need to have about a 3 goal advantage going into the last 10 minutes to have the faintest hope of holding on til full time

We're hanging on to dear life against Stoke. It was gonna be a win because we were controlling the midfield, so much so, that Lucas was even positioning himself in attacking situations - that's how much we were in control and the goal was coming.
Enter Rodgers and his substitution.
He removed our best player Lucas and brought in Gerrard.
Stoke regained the control of midfield but we scored a fluke goal, clear offside. Since Lucas left, Stoke has possession, shots on goal, total domination...but we scored an offside goal with Gerrard having nothing to do with the offside goal. And Stoke unlucky not to score at least a couple of goals.
Cue the media tomorrow "Gerrard ignites Liverpool", "Gerrard saves Liverpool"...
CA$$$$$$$$$$$$$HHHHHHHHHH but how I sweated for this win.

Re: Premier League 29-30 November
Proper hoof-fest our game.
The funny thing we didn't play that much worse than we have recently, it's just that the goal went the other way this time. We could easily lose 5/6 on the bounce now. Pardew will go from doing the helicopter in the street to talking the club down against as if losing every week should be expected.

Re: Premier League 29-30 November
We just about deserved the win. Stoke are utterly dreadful.
Defensively better - Kolo is doing well, Lucas looked good. Gerrard in DM should never happen again.
Lambert is doing a good job as well - if we have to become a long ball team and grind out wins until Sturridge is back then so be it.
Lallana must start though and Moreno.

Stoke were clearly better than us when Lucas left the game. We were slightly better with Lucas playing and the goal was coming but Rodgers nearly ruined it by bringing Gerrard to the game. The slight edge we enjoyed in midfield with Lucas there was lost and Stoke took control.
Our offside goal came out of nowhere, against the run of play.
I heard Hughes speak after the game and he said something like "we are disappointed, didn't deserve to lose...we were on the ascendancy after some changes were made and we were encouraged we could get something today" or something very similar to that.
With Lucas there and Without Gerrard, our goal was coming, it was a matter of time. Rodgers fucked up the chemistry and rolled the dice and GOT LUCKY. He did his best to lose the game by taking out Lucas and bringing Gerrard to the game. Hughes was fuming because he also believes they were the better team once Lucas left.
