Swansea played decent stuff today at times but City just a class above even without Aguero and Silva.

He scarpered off just before half time. Shots of Tan looking around him, a bit bemused, a few minutes later.  Laughing

0 - 0 HT. Both teams stinking the place out. Actually Cardiff are doing well, keeping their shape and getting together some sort of threat going forward on occassions. We have Cazorla, Walcott, Wilshere and Poldi, whose average height must be around 5ft 6, fannying around trying to pass the ball into the net. Bentdner has to come on, it's that desparate.

That said, the ref did ignore a good penalty shout when Wilshere was brought down in the box by Medel.

Also done by a refereeing decision number 123000 this season. Fat head's son kicked Suarez when he already on a yellow. We know we're not playing on a level playing field now.

I hate these penalties where a player kicks the ball past a keeper, with no intention of touching it again, then just dives over the attempted challenge.

Wenger nearly fucked things up with his line-up today

2 DMs against a bus parker at home? Also meant Wilshere at AM where he generally struggles. But overall he looked like the Wilshere of old today though. Please Wenger, play him in CM, he will be THE MAN for us against the big teams.

As usual Wenger waited till the 60th before making any changes (I called it), but fortunately we got away with it. Huge 3 points!

I thought Wilshere did an excellent job. Medel was clearly worried about conceding fouls and repeatedly got dragged wide without being able to get a tackle in, it was just that the other midfield players didn't move into the space. Considering Podolski offers no interplay and there was nobody but Cazorla to play with Wilshere did well just to win set pieces and sometimes find Walcott.

Meanwhile Moyes plays the most attacking line up he could manage and still can't get the late goal.

Spurs held on and pulled off a good win today. I will never know why Man U never got Dembele their lose, today spurs played 4-1-3-2 first half I think or a diamond. Have to say at top level coaches are way way way over hyped a football manager is what becomes most important and AVB fell sort in that department.

    100million wasted they said.

    Average players they said.

We won that game with Kaboul, Vertonghen, Sandro, Paulinho, Townsend, Defoe, Holtby, Siggurdsson all missing.

Meanwhile Chiriches, Capoue and Eriksen all had excellent games.

Maybe that 100million spent wasn't so bad after all, and actually these players are getting the time to bed in.

Eriksen scoring the winner brings particular joy as I watched it on my 60inch tv, thinking about Fey watching the score change on teletext.
