The Italian hitman arrived from Serie A for £7 million but has barely figured under coach Quique Flores.

"To me, it seems everything I have done in my career up to now has been a waste," a furious Tavano told Corriere dello Sport. "It seems that I have not ever done anything in my life. Here they do not consider me: now I am injured, but this hasn't changed anything.

"Also when I was well, I trained to the maximum and yet I was never selected. (Sports director Amadeo) Carboni says to be calm, but it is not easy, also because it is not he who selects the team.

"Now I have asked my agent to come here so we can talk, because I cannot go on like this."

i knew it would have worked out, but i must say this came earlier that i expected

Valencia does seem to have a knack of wasting good Italian talent and compromising their place in the azzurri... first Fiore, now Tavano.... a spanish conspiracy?? Laughing

... He was a quality Lazio youth product! He should have moved back there instead of going to the cheating lady.

I'd rather Tavano be wasted in Spain than playing well for Roma. Smile
