Brasil cracked under the enormous pressure they were under. The score flattered Germany, but it was really Brasil coming apart at the seams.

Germany is only capable of winning 1-0 (with luck) against decent sides in regulation.

The facts speak for themselves – as if any team, even that average Brazil team of 2002 (with some exceptional individuals) marches through a tournament thrashing everyone. 18 goals scored, only four conceded, first European team to win on the continent beating Brazil and Argentina on the way – is a pretty good record. France and Argentina were damn good teams. Not to have the balls to acknowledge that is just a bit sad.
