Very composed first half from us, more pep than luis in the first half, and we should have scored more.

As expected a fairly comfortable Barca win. Having 3 of the top 5 forwards in the world may have had something to do with Barca winning the treble this season but that's just a guess.

Barça were the second most successful club in La Liga when Cruyff arrived in 1973. Barça hadn't won La Liga title since 1960.

Cruyff was an awesome player and so was my man Hugo Sotil who also arrived in 1973 at the club. Sotil played with the #10 jersey and he was the Messi back then breaking ankles and hips throughout La Liga. How did Hugo "Cholo" Sotil end up at Barcelona? Well, Sotil and Cubillas utterly destroyed Bayern Munich's Beckembauer, Muller, Vogts, Hoeness, Meier and co. 4-1 and Barcelona directors signed Sotil. They could only sign either Cubillas or Sotil because they had already signed Cruyff. Basel from Switzerland paid a shite load of money for Cubillas, but Basel are not a proper club so Cubillas left soon after for Porto where he changed their mentality there.

That first season was a dream for Sotil and Cruyff not only they helped Barça finally win the La Liga title again, they also utterly demolished Real Madrid 0-5 at the Bernabéu.
