Looks as though they are in serious trouble - Pardew now looks as though he may well be stuggling to remain manager.

Awful football by them today, they seem to have lost the ability to pass!

Since Tevez and Mascherano 'arrived', West Ham haven't won a game .. not saying it is their fault - but with all the 'takeover' speculation; may have caused the 'stability' and atmosphere of the team to go down..

It's just a bad period. They went through one last year where they lost 4-5 on the bounce, didn't they? They'll recover.

If this was mid-season it would just be considered a blip, but because it's right at the start of the season they're doomed. Rolling Eyes

the other player are just mad that tevez and mascherano were given a place in the starting line-up straight away, they're afraid of their places when the take over will take place.

kia got his 'own' players shook!

We;ll see - nothing seems to be going their way at the moment though and Tevez and Mascherano are showing no signs of settling at present.

Tevez and Mascherano have been 2 of their better players each time I've seen them. It's the rest that's performing shit at present.

Tevez and Mascherano have effected them but you cant blame then.
    Pardew must take the blame.

Also, his substitutions seem pretty desperate.

Maybe Valencia are but if this were to happen he may choose to stay

Portugal boss Phil Scolari would be interested in managing West Ham if his long-time friend Kia Joorabchian buys the club. (NOTW)

Unfortunately its not whether you want him to stay, when the new owners come in they will weigh up whether he meets their needs. i.e Ranieri at the Chavs

found this on a football blog. they were talking about the curse of Tevez and coaches.

    Trouble at West Ham Charlyrrrrlococharly

In his short carreer Carlitos has already flipped several coaches. The list :

    Oscar Tavarez
    Marcelo Bielsa
    Miguel Brindisi
    Ademar Braga
    Marcio Bittancourt
    Tité
    Daniel Passarella
    Antonio Lopez
    José Pekerman
    Geninho

Like Tevez would say: "Padu iu de ness" (Pardew you're de next by Carlitos). Just made me laugh(the picture, not WH situation)

Well I don't know how traditional english coaches can use Tevez really but the main thing I've seen of the WH games the team looks very bad animically, not just the defeats but like there's not much will to fight for the game. IMO is clear that Tevez and Mascherano's arrival has affected the group. It might have something to do with Tevez's attitude but I doubt they know themselves enoguh for something like that to rise.

Anyway don't have to set the alarm yet. You can stil have hope about this guy at yout club. Teves start at Brazil was absolutely horrendous... but he ended up being champion and best player...

West Ham skipper Nigel Reo-Coker lost his rag after being hooked by manager Alan Pardew during yesterday's defeat by Reading.

Reo-Coker saw red at being subbed five minutes from time. He ignored Pardew, threw his skipper's armband to the ground and then refused to wear a tracksuit top before sitting down.

The midfield star, still fuming at the Hammers for turning down a ?13million transfer deadline day bid from Arsenal, had suffered a frustrating game as the home side dominated but failed to turn their possession into chances. Pardew, his side now 16th in the Premiership, added: "You do not want to be down there at this stage of the season.

"We have to come out fighting. I feel for the team at the moment. But my experience tells me things will change. We had enough chances to score three goals but just can't get it in the net at the moment.

"This is a lonely old horrible job at times, especially when you get results like that. There have been question-marks over our spirit but I think we fought hard, so that is a positive.

"We have had some injury issues and we must try and get a settled defence."

Reo-Coker is still only 21... it's a big ask to be made captain at that age. Looks like frustration got the better of him.

All is not rosy, that is sure.

    @ TS & coops

Reo-Coker has been the worst player for us this season and would have no right to get frustrated for being subbed...If anything he should be dropped...

However...this is all bollocks...there was no move to Arsenal...and he didnt throw his armband...the papers are wankers
