    for me ithink the scotland against French was the biggest suprise. coz most people thought France was going to win it. But i geuss the scotish have showed the world what they are capable off.

    I went with the Scotland-France option, but looking at it twice, I think I'll go with Cyprus.

    I hadn't noticed Cyprus had actually won, and against a squad with decent players like Ireland.

    I'd say Scotland-France, don't forget all the injuries that Ireland had. And tbh although they have some very good players on paper, most of them are kind of on the downward slope now. World Cup 2002 was their peak.

    I think it shows that there are really no upsets. With the exception of particularly small or weak nations, all internationals are difficult to win.

    I don't see Bulgaria away as a bad result btw.... Macedonia at home is a bigger humiliation...

    Cyprus - Ireland was the biggest up-set although Ireland are a poor side at the moment!!

    England v Macedonia is not even on the list? Is this what people expect of England these days?

    A 0-0 draw in front of 70,000 home fans against Macedonia???

    I watched it with English friends and they were appalled.

    Well England's lethargic style of play isn't really news.. I think it must only be a minority of English fans that still have themselves convinced that they have a great attack..

    The only thing shocking about the Ireland - Cyprus game was the defending.

    Funnily enough, not that many people are overly concerned, because it was inevitable that the lethargy left over from SGE's reign was going to linger for awhile.

    England are moving in the right direction though, but with all teams, there are stumbles along the way...

    personally, no idea why the holland result is on that list. Bulgaria are no pushovers.

    Wales 1- Slovakia 5 should be on there.

    To be honest, that's not a surprise to me. Maybe the score slightly, but all the goals were absolute quality and coupled with goalkeeper mistakes, there wasn't much the defence could do. Slovakia are also a much much better side than Wales.
