He Does. He actually looks for players early in the game to see if they have the correct body to strike a deflection off. If you saw earlier he was checking out the 2 reading players and even considered the physics behind the strike

The first half was interesting, both teams' players really got stuck into each other...Reading hit the post too. Dare I say it, a better finisher (coughGuddy/Ronaldinhi/Messicough) would have finished that better.
