How pathetic. I see that Barca has taken little time in forcing Gudjonssen to take lessons in Deco's diving school. I guess it makes sense in his case since he's no good at anything else anyway.

why cant cappello bring some italian mafia methods so we can start getting some refs on our side.if any other ref in la liga sees that as a penalty then we will have a hard time winning the title.

The funny part is that even Diario Sport, the most biased newspaper in the world, is trying to find excuses about why it was a penalty, almost admitting that it wasn't one. Here we have Mighty Barca being even more biased than that pathetic newspaper. Poor guy Laughing

Weakest case for a penalty ever.

I bet Barca wish Rolling Substitutions were a viable option. They could take Ronaldinho off after each cheap penalty then.

    INVIZZZZZABLE.

There is a hell of a lot of diving in la liga (and terrible refs which makes it even worse). But for Real Madrid fans to continuously accuse Barca specifically has to be a joke. You have Robinho on your team, for crying out loud!

Barca also play fast and attacking football. That usually brings more free-kicks and penalties with it.

That being said the differences between the leagues is immense. Bayern today got their first penalty since December 2005 (which was their only penalty in all competitions last season). That's something like 25 league matches without a penalty for the 2nd most offensive team in the league. And Bremen didn't get many more either, I believe.

    Now compare that to Spain...

To be perfectly fair - although I do agree with you - Kaká is equally as INVIZZABLE so far.

Do I want to turn over and watch the second half of the Barca match, or do I want to watch Kaká drag it back - despite playing out of position - for AC Milan in the derby...

    Descisions, descisions.

    @Effenberg

It seems to me as if you're either basing your Robinho criticism on last week's el clasico or on Nutwing's paranoid threads.

Robinho is not a serial diver. Admittedly, his diving was pathetic against Barca. But Robinho doesn't dive on a regular basis. In the beginning, he ws mainly knocked over by other defenders because he was so weak, but he didn't call for penalties.

Ronaldinho and Deco on the other hand, are unstoppable diving machines. They average at least 2 dives per game, and that's being generous. And a big difference is also that they get free kicks for most of their dives.

And regarding BM, maybe your lack of penalties has to do with the fact that Ballack left, who was easily the worst diver in your team Laugh

Ballack was a bit of a diver but I can't remember him getting a single penalty in the league. Like I said one pen all season last year (when Ballack was still there).

There were a few blatant ones not given though. The refs in Germany just tell the players to "play on". La Liga sure is the opposite.

It's really a shame that the refs are crap.
