Steve Nash is an NBA legend. A Canadian who spent a lot of his youth in London and is a big Tottenham supporter.

well, here it comes: Nash is the MVP of the NBA; he is Canadian and a living LEGEND; Katie Melua is writing lyrics about the ball-artist

Nash is also a MASSIVE football fan and in regular contact with Hargreaves

when he calls Owen a CANADIAN LAD that's exactly how all Canadians think of him, presumably INCLUDING Hargreaves himself

and that's the clincher: it seems like Owen thinks of himself more as a bear-hunter than a war-hungry , marmite loving lion who likes his beer warm

chances are , he won't admit this to the Mirror though

I think Nash is just wishful thinking re Hargreaves.

Its like when Germans claim that Hitler was their own

Hargreaves plays for England, that's his choice. He always refers to himself as a Canadian though. Good luck to the lad, I'm sure he has his reasons.
