    Advantage United? Empty Advantage United?

    Post by S4P Sat Nov 25, 2006 10:56 pm

    Manchester United v Arsenal
    Manchester United v Liverpool
    Manchester United v Chelsea

After tomorrow, United will have played all 3 of the so called 'big 4' ironically, all at home. Favourtism from the so-called 'random draw for the fixture list', so that United could hopefully build a big enough lead? (are the FA fed up with Chelsea winning it ALREADY?)

Sorry. I'm on a bit of a wind up tonight Embarassed Ale

Yeah of course, never mind that the hardest fixtures come in the 2nd half of the season when players will be battle weary...

Hang on, didn't I say before the Arsenal game that they never get much change out of Bolton away, and that Bolton would get at least one set piece goal against Arsenal?

Hardly prophetic, I know, when you put the country's best set piece team against the team who don't even practice them. But still, I predicted an Arsenal loss and that's what we got.

I mean, Fabregas is an exceptional prospect and already a very talented attacking playmaker, but that first goal was nothing short of ridiculous on his part. He's stood behind the player that he's meant to be marking, in the middle of the goal, with his hands around the player that he's meant to be marking, while simultaneously blocking the run of his keeper.

And, as the shortest player on the pitch, why was he given the job of marking in the six yard box on a corner?

Thing is, who's decision was it for Fabregas to mark Nolan. Yikes

One of the biggest and strongest players in the league marked by probably one of the weakest and smallest.
