I don't think people are, it was only Puro.
I would of given him a 6. Excellent in the first half but over run in the second.

Awful tackling in the first half.
Yeah, he should have gone. But the same could so easily be said of Heinze (2 yellow cards), and Scholes (5 yellow cards).
You know Scholes has kicked someone badly when Andy Gray says "The master of mis-timed tackles"
So, Scholes off Ballack off Heinze off.....(and lets no ignore some almost red card elbows from both sides). Have you ever even played the game? it's not touch rugby where as soon as your boot touches a leg it;s a foul.
There is absolutely no way that was a 3 red card game. The ref did very well considering the very physical nature of the game.

You can have no complaints about yellow and red cards.

indeed i do. but maybe im baised but i do think gerrard provides a hell of a lot more assists and telling through ballas then frank does.. but lets not turn it into a gerrard, lamp debate. nobody deserves another one of those inflicted on themI'm sure you perhaps feel the same way about Gerrard when he plays in the middle.
It's just a shame Sheva didn't play in the Nou Camp, when Frank played well for ten minuted but was non existent for the rest of the game, and was giving Robben glorious chances to score

I can if I say I thought Drogba was lucky.
But what did you make of Vidic's raised arm to Cudicini's face?

No I know it's not touch rugby, which is why I didn't get why Ronaldo kept falling down in the last 10 minutes, throwing his body over Ashley Cole to make it look like Ash had fouled him.
It wasn't a dirty game, but there were lots of nibbles and kicks from behind, which were yellow card offences (by today's rules). And if you remember rightly, 2 yellows = a sending off.

You're comparing the two?
och come on spank. he barley touched him in the chest. vidic went down clutching his face for some reason and rolled around for about 2 minutes. just applying the same logic people (presumably you were one of them but can't remember) dished out to henry.Parks Lives wrote:COTR wrote:

Aye, he made a meal of it but Ballack fucking clothes lined him.

Again you show your ignorance of the actual game. I think you will find that when you are running at full pelt the slightest touch can put your ass on the floor.

But what happens if there is no touch? (like there wasn't)

It doesn't have to be like this.

My MOTM, Carvalho for Chelsea and Cristiano for the Mancs. Carvalho had Rooney in his pocket yet again. Carvalho was so good he even took on Saha, but unfortunately Saha got one past him. We know we can't count on Terry to anticipate the plays.
Cristiano was amazing turning Ashley Cole sideways, backwards, twisting him like a pretzel throughout. It's too bad Cristiano missed that goal in the second half when the ball bounced funny close to goal after a Heinze cross I believe. Ashley Cole had enough of Cristiano he had to kick him all game. Can't provide anything on offense, in danger of being the scapegoat, last resort is to get Cristiano out of the game with fouls. Ashley is such an overrated player, Bridge is more than capable of doing the job there.
Kudos to Vidic, Scholes, Carrick, Essien, Drogba. Good game, but didn't live up to all that hype as almost always in the EPL. We know that.

Yeah I agree, although the reason that day was Arsenal were far superior to United. Tonight it was pretty much a stalemate.
But you're right. Quality wise it could have been better, although the nature of the premiership, its pace and lack of time on the ball means that these kind of games occur quite regularly.
