    I prefer Deisler as a person, think Rafael is a cunt. But as a football player VDV > Deisler. Not saying Deisler ain't a great player, but a fit Van der Vaart is a midfielder scoring 20 a season. Deisler can only dream about that.

    This is all based on potential. Deisler has the potential, but the same can be said of a million and one players who havent fulfilled theirs for whatever reason.

    Both are in the bracket of potential superstars. Whether they will be in an unusually late stage of their careers; probably not.
