ManU after Slavkovski!

Bugger off, SAF... we are not Parma that you can pick on our young jewels!! Slavkovski stays right where he is, you go snooping someone else's youth team....

Seriously, youth team poaching should be banned.

On a side note, I am worried about the lack of playing time Slavkovski is getting with the primavera... I can understand that Attila, Ribas and ludovic have started scoring regularily, and they are a year elder to him.... but slavkovski is a jewel, and need to be developed. Ribas may make it to senior squad if developed well, Slavkovski will definately make the squad in 3 years.


United eye Inter swoop
Manchester United have been linked with a move for exciting Inter starlet Goran Slavkovski. The Swedish-born striker has been likened to fellow countryman and teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and has already played in the first team. He was Inter’s youngest ever debutant last May at just 17 years and one month. Reports in England suggest that Slavkovski is unhappy in the Primavera side and Sir Alex Ferguson has been alerted to his desire to leave.

Interestingly, Mancio has named Slavkovski in the senior squad for tonights coppa clash along with 7 other primavera players...

Midfielders: 50 Ibrahim Maaroufi (1989)

these english teams should try and develop thier own young players instead of stealing the finished product from other clubs youth system

if they were doing both it wouldn't be that bad but they are just setting their cherry picking other teams players

To be honest I can't see why we'd want a young unproven striker anyway, we have Rossi and some others doing well in the reserves like Campbell and Brandy.

With Rooney and Saha as well, we just need a finished article to compete for a spot.

He's 17 so we cant poach him as he have a 3 yr pro deal with Inter(as far as I know) , if he comes that means that Inter sells him or he is not happy.
