It's EMBARRASSING being a Dutch

We allow our players to shout the most terrible diseases and WE say afterwards... well, this is only street language. Do we have to allow words like "Cancer Negroe" (Kenneth Perez) or "White Typhoid Dog" (Wesley Sneijder) or is it just innocent street language... Hey and.... , swearing doesn't hurt, does it...? Wesley "the midget" still thinks it is not bad what he said...! Isn’t it that players have to give the right example….? We have already enough problems with hooligans…. Look at this….

In Den Haag the “supporters” threatened the last couple of weeks Management, the coach and the director to sack coach Adelaar. At the end of the day Frans Adelaar (not my favourite coach) was so afraid for his "own" supporters he was walking soaked from sweat on the pitch and tried to coach and train Den Haag. This unworkable situation couldn't last forever so he decided to step down. This is exactly what hooligans wanted to reach. They wanted to use any FORCE to get that done.... Disgraceful….. We always bend for this terrorism in the Netherlands....
We saw the same thing with Ronald Koeman at Ajax two years ago.... the supporters threatened him to leave the club and WE bent for it...

Jorien van de Herik is chairman of Feyenoord but he is too afraid to show his head anymore in the stadium. The "supporters" hate him till the bone and also they try to do everything to let him step down....

Many Journalists are not allowed (by some supporters) to join the football stadiums anymore because they said something critical about their club. Now they have to fear for their lives if they enter a stadium…It is ridiculous WE all allow this...

Lastnight,......Nancy-Feyenoord......

300 hooligans who aren't allowed to go to one single stadium anymore decided to go to Nancy (the French city is just around the corner). The French sold them tickets because they thought they were "home" fans...
These Hooligans broke-down half of the centre of Nancy so the police came in action... They lead them to the stadium and didn't arrest the hooligans. In the stadium between the home crowds these drunken hooligans made a complete mess. The referee Espen Berntsen was forced to take the players off the pitch with ten minutes left.
They hurled seats at home fans and tried to break through cordons to launch further attacks, which forced police to use tear gas which drifted onto the pitch - and forced the players off the pitch. At this point Nancy fans were told to depart the stadium...

As a Dutchman I really apologise for this misbehaviour of some Dutchies (Feyenoord Hooligans). Absolutely pathetic....!


What can be the solution to ban this Football hooligan TERRORISM...? We will get the ENGLISH Football law very soon in the Netherlands but is this enough to get rid of those criminals...?

I agree 100% Ricardo. Last night was disgracefull and I'm glad I still support a decent club.

Aside from the poor result, the violence is going to far. Death threats are very common nowadays I can't blame the coaches and board members to bent under the pressure.

All these people do the best for the club even though they may do not make the best decisions. These people mostly have a clubheart and those 'supporters' are ruining there lifes.

I went to see Feyenoord play Charlton i a pre-season friendly a couple of years ago - Charlton are a pretty freindly club but they still tried to kick up a fuss even in a friendly and were hurling abuse at the passing fans

Of course there are bad people everywhere but it has to be stopped, NOW!!!

It is only a minority is a silly answer because you wont stop it by saying that!

I am sick of it ALL... All the incidents in this year is clearly enough. Remember also the attack by Ajax hooligans on an innocent Den Haag fan base...

What about the club not suspending Perez themselves ?

Instead they play him the next match and leave it to the KNVB to punish him, what kind of message does that send ?!

The Feyenoord fans patrolled the city the day of the match, toppling buses and eating babies. Ok, not quite, but they all looked nuts and during the match they stormed the Rangers crowd en masse like it was Rome Total War!

I ain’t ever going back to a Feyenoord match!

Sneijder was already being punished by the ref/KNVB.

It would have credited the club if they'd have made a statement by punishing Sneijder themselves.

Feyenoord Rotterdam is known as the Dutch club with the most brutal hooligans in Germany. The idiots on our side always look forward to matches against them because of this. People like them don't care about football, they don't even care about going to the stadium and watching the match.

Before the match against Chelsea, a few hundred Werder and Chelsea hooligans had arranged a fight that should have taken place in Hamburg, 120 km away from Bremen. The police prevented this from happening, but it proves that people like them should not be count as "fans" at all.

Agreed. Problem here is Blut these people does have stadium bannes. But on a match day they can just go where they want to. Feyenoord as a club cant forbid these people too travel to France. And there lies the problem. As long as the Government does nothing about this, we will keep this kind of problems.

I've been to the Kuip plenty of times and when I cheered for the opposite team and the mood wasn't really friendly.

Sparta is not only the club from Rotterdam but they are also the most friendly in Rotterdam.

I don't think so really. Rotterdam has a decent center and that's it. Cultural it is crap and I only come there for the few nice shops.

Not that Schiedam, my hometown on 10minutes to Rotterdam with the train, is that great. It is just a shity area really.

Rotterdam has that "rough" industrial charme, it's not "polished" in any way. I like that.
