    Serie A = A lot of Cantenaccio

however if one of the questions had been, 'most entertaining' Serie A would get my vote

Luis, stop with your stereotypes. Catenaccio doesn't exist in Serie A anymore (with some exceptions). Empoli last season played to win every game they either won or got hammered. Lecce (under Zeman) and Catania play 4-3-3. Teams in Italy constantly change formations depending on their opponents.

The game is played at a slower pace though but it's not catenaccio.

But there is. In England you might get 4-4-2 or 4-5-1. In Italy they play 4-3-3, 3-4-3 (Torino), 4-2-3-1 (Empoli), 4-3-1-2 (inter) e.t.c

    Everton 3 - liverpool 0
    Real 2 - Barca 0

All leagues have unpredictable results luis. I am calling it the most predicatable because Inter were always going to run away with the title this year and this is exactly what is happening.

    1. Goalkeepers: Serie A (and by some distance)
    2. Defenders: EPL (close with Serie A)
    3. Midfielders: La Liga (by a mile, specially in the attacking midfield area)
    4. Strikers: La Liga (Serie A is pretty close here)
    5. Managers: They are all about the same level (Big 3)
    6. Tactical Variety: Serie A (I guess italian teams give more imp to tactics - and now play very different tactics, the variety is amazing)
    7. Players under the age of 23/ :Eredivise

    Which league is the most?
    8. Predictable: EPL
    9. Competitive: La Liga (I guess Serie A may become more competitive next season without point penalties and Juve back in fray)

Still think EPL comes out top. Sure you get some average keepers like Given who play up to the camera's but there's some real quality in there aswell.

Maybe if Buffon was in Serie A this season I'd have opted for that, but he's not. Serie A has lots of good - international class - keepers. Don't see one stand out one though, whereas the Premiership has Cech.

I totally disagree (except re the cech comment)... I think Serie A has some amazing GKs, and many up and coming ones... just compare them one-on-one with their english counterparts, and you will know what I mean... cudicini for example is no longer among the top 10 italian gk's IMO, let alone the gks in serie A.... infact I think La Liga gks are at the same level as EPL...

I doubt Cudicini is in the top 10 in the Premiership these days. Keepers like David James, Friedel and Schwarzer receive very little credit because they're all capable of making a cock up once in every 10-20 games which tends to over-shadow the fact that in the same amount of the time they probably save their team from losing/drawing 4-5 games.
