European Board Players Exchange Empty European Board Players Exchange

Post by doninha Wed Dec 13, 2006 5:46 pm

Its funny to see how some team fans are so disappointed with players that fans of their prior team would almost kill to get them back.

So, what players would you gladly receive back for not being performing in their new club, or what players you wouldn't mind to get a ticket back?

    For Sporting:

    Can you please return:

Rochemback - I'm sure Cooper would release him, he isn't adapting to EPL, and he was "The Rock" in our midfield and European adventure. We miss him!

Forgot about Morientes...but then... Valencia are happy with him.

Bring back Vladi and Gary Mac. Maybe then we'll be able to take some proper corners/penalties.

Nice to see that Fey appreciates the legend that is Bob Ross.

Many a drunk night has been spent sat infront of the tele at 3 in the morning, watching him paint, listening to his eerie, soothing, bassy voice.

Gary Mac is my favourite 'unsung' player of recent years.

But if we're going back to players no longer playing, and can have them at their peak...

King Kenny, John Barnes, Ian Rush, Graham Souness, Jan Molby, Ray Houghton, Alan Hansen will all do nicely Wink

Not sure about Vladi, maybe past it now? And never great for us. Jari Litmanen and Robbie Fowler at 22 would be interesting though.

I was thinking about players who could 'still do a job'.

If I was bringing someone back for penalties then surely Phil Neal or Jan Molby would be considered?

Liddell - if everything I've read/been told is true - or Callaghan would be nice to have. Keep Pennant out of the first team. Add in Ron Yeats to play alongside Agger, just to scare the shit out of the opposition.

    Actually...

    - - - - - - - - - - - Reina
Phil Neal - Ron Yeats - Agger - Riise
    Callaghan - Gerrard - Alonso - Barnes
    - - - - - - - - - - - - Dalglish
    - - - - - - - - Rush

    ... Not bad, issit?

Real is our feeder club Wink Next we want Cassillas and Robinho Wink

This is actually quite strange (for Inter), coz for the first time I don't think I want any of our ex-players back!!!!

No Martins, Emre, Veron, Pizzaro, C Zanetti, Davids, Dalmat, Der Meyde, Favalli, Ze Maria, etc.... none of them. We are ok.

I was trying to list only some of the last 2 seasons ex-players.... otherwise the list will become way too long!!!!

Even some players most people don't usually assiciate with Inter: Kanu, Mutu, Pandev, Ventola, Pirlo, Cannavaro, Berkamp, Silvestre, Robbie Keane, Carlos, Frey, etc - all failures at Inter!
