In an idea blatantly nicked from the forum we choose the best Premiership player for each squad number. There are some great '8's (and Jermaine Jenas) but we despair of numbers 35 and 37...





1 - Chelsea's Petr Cech (Edwin van der Sar, Jens Lehmann and just about every other goalkeeper).


2 - ManYoo's Gary Neville (Micah Richards, Lucas Neill and other assorted right-backs).


3 - Chelsea's Ashley Cole (Steve Finnan (oddly enough), Patrice Evra and various other left-backs).

I have to say that at this moment in time, it is embarassing to see Shevchenko's name on there.

Then again, you have got the likes of SWP, Fletcher, Almunia, Zenden and Tevez on there, so I guess it's not as bad as it looks.

Zenden is great, I'd take him back tomorrow.
