Stockport County are allowing Michael Malcolm to train with Bundesliga leaders Werder Bremen next week.
Malcolm impressed a watching German scout during Stockport's 3-0 win over Grimsby Town last Saturday.
He scored in the convincing success to take his tally for the season to three and his display caught the eye of Bremen.
The Hatters have confirmed that Malcolm will travel over to Germany on Sunday, a day after the club's FA Cup third round tie at Watford.
The League Two side have also revealed that a six-figure transfer will be settled, should Malcolm impress Bremen coach Thomas Schaaf (pictured) in training.
Malcolm's strike partner Liam Dickinson could also head out to Germany for a trial with a different Bundesliga club.
