10 Worst Chairman Ever In England

With the departure of Deadly Doug from Villa the orange site have put together a list of twatty chairman.

Our beloved Freddy Shepherd comes in at 3, slightly unfair i feel. He's obviously an arse that knows bugger all about football, BUT he has made/kept our finances very strong.

Doug Ellis and Risdale should be changed.

Ellis has done a much better job.

It's a manageable debt from when we extended the stadium, there's a payment plan set out for it.

Liverpool are also in debt 'Football Genious' and will be even more so when they eventually build a new stadium

i tell you i will be pissed if either we don't get a player like Torres or Tevez next year and we don't spend any more before the transfer window closes

2 guys that work for his company were sacked after he found out they had gone to an away UEFA Cup game(Roma i believe). It was all over the regional news. They had these 2 bald, almost chimp like guys and they were sating "Ug ug ug, this is well unfair this, ug ug ug". Or something like that.

No one really knows our situation other than the Glazers, thats why I take things written by the anti-Glazer Man United fans with a pinch of salt.

Last statement I heard the debt was much easier to handle than first thought.

Weren't alot of Utd fans worried about it aswell? It wasn't just opposition fans, I remember alot of Utd fans were really concerned about the debt you seemed to be taking on.

The only person who's said we're in over £20 million of debt is, surprise surprise, Steve Morgan - our third largest shareholder at the time. Someone who was desperate to buy the club. On the cheap.

Everyone else has actually denied his exaggerated claims. Infact, our wage bill has been decreeasing yearly (amongst other things) as far as I'm aware.

But thats my point alot of the biggest opposition he has had is Man United fans who didn't want to see them take over the club for many reasons, mainly because the debt he brings. So some of there stories are scaremongering, even if some are true.

well i'd prefer david sullivan to sam hamman, he's a walking disaster, and we also have ridsdale as CE, we are fucked

the last piece of info about the glazers was they had actually increased united's debt burden but the interest they have to pay of the loans each year has decreased... I don't know the situation overly well but i think as long as united's actual valuation remains as high as it currently is then the club will have few financial problems... if fergie stays in charge for much longer however.............
