Baros would be, if Schaff could teach him to look up and pass the ball. And seen as no one else as managed that, I wouldn't hold your breath. On the otherhand, if he's just playing upfront, relying simply on Diego to play him through on goal, you couldn't find a better striker for less than £20m ok

would make a good partnership IMO. Baros is at his most impressive for his country when playing alongside Koller ok

When you say the most romantic club, do you mean that post match the players like to slip out of their silk undergarments and gently slide into a communal bath dabbled in petals and floating candlelight, gently rub baby oil into one another before sharing a hand-in-hand stroll down by the river and end the night making love under the moonlight deep into the early hours of the morning?

I cant think what other reason could give berth to this notion of Europe's most Romantic Club....

    Both are average at best.

Baros just needs the right enviroment and he'll become a top striker. He's still only 25, afterall.

Still, if they're expecting someone to come in and be as selfless as Klose, they're going to be disappointed with him at the moment. But, like Diego, he could find the Bundesliga the perfect place to build his confidence against semi-professional bavarian farmers and milk-maidens. Rolling Eyes

yep, that's what I had in mind Wink

    @ obispo

Bremen will get Baros back to his old best and sell him on to Liverpool for £15 million, where he will take the EPL by storm; just like his fellow Eastern European Bundesliga rejects Rosicky, Hleb and Berbatov

    @ tweeds

I'd say Klose is 90% like to leave Bremen

he is talking about joining one of 5 foreign clubs all the time

What Klose actually said is, there are only five foreign clubs for which he would consider leaving Werder Bremen. Bayern is none of them... Wink

Hmm, I think Aston Villa demanded about 10 million Euro from the HSV last year, that would make about £7.5 million...so considering what I've heard about his performances at Aston Villa since then, I think £5m sound realistic.

I guess that would be too much for Werder Bremen. I can't imagine Allofs would offer much more than £4.5m for him...
