A poll held on Goal.com’s Italian edition elected Cristiano Ronaldo as the player Juve should buy next season once they return to the Italian Serie A.
Even though the Portughese magician had to face heavy competition from the likes of Ballack, Klose, and Gilardino, he dominated the poll by collecting 53% of the preferences.
Second came Andrea Barzagli with 15% of the votes, third Javier Mascherano with 11%.
The Juve fans hope that Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival will convince Buffon, Camoranesi, and Trezeguet to remain in Turin.
Just one problem for the Juventini: For now Manchester United do not seem intentioned to let go of their star wing, who has a contract binding him to the Old Trafford club until 2010.
Furthermore, Ronaldo’s suitors (that also include Barcelona and Real Madrid) will need to dish-out a total 40 million Euros between sale-price and yearly salary to secure themselves his precious services.
