It's not that bad a team other than the keeper.

I love all the people putting Robinson or Gordon there ahead of Coupet. Idiots.

And Cole ahead of Abidal Doh

Otherwise the team seems about right to me. I probably wouldn't put Rooney up front personally, but I can see why most people would.

But seriously, Robinson > Coupet Laughing

    Rio
    Sagnol

    Ribery

Robinson instead of Coupet shows just the ignorance of British people on the french goalkeeper.
Cech was unknown before joining EPL and when he came at Chelsea, few months later, he was already the best goalkeeper in the world.
But people ignore that Coupet was better than Cech in French league.

He's been injured for a hell of a longtime. Anelka over Rooney is lunacy. Dont care how about the stats, Rooney is a far better team player than Anelka.

Cole is better than Abidal too in my opinion from what I've seen of the Frenchman; although Cashley is well off form at the moment. I'd take Evra, I like him a lot.

Abidal is an awesome player. Cole can run fast. Abidal is ten times better going forward and better defensively as well, and I've seen lots of both players.

As for Anelka over Rooney... Well you can say Rooney has been injured, he's still played quite a few games and not performed. Anelka is such a talented player, it's stupid to leave him out of the team for someone who hasn't performed internationally for the past two years imo.

Ok, if we think about this laterally- Anelka would be an exceptionally bad influence on the squad. Scholes and Anelka at a dinner table together? Hmm. I'd leave him out because he's a moody c*nt, and with henry in there, 2 moody french c*nts would be too much for the rest of the team to bear Laughing <Ale>

But let's be honest, if we're taking it like this, the team would just self destruct:

Gerrard: Give me the ball, I want the ball.
Vieira :Fuck off you scouse cunt.
Rio - Yeah, like, lay off my pal Stevie G
Anelka: Fuck off you illiterate inbred.

You know it would happen. Those players couldn't cohabitate. And as for having a bad influence on the squad, Rooney's tendancy to get sent off would count against him. I'd rather Crouch in my team than Rooney.

Rooney might be a better team player, but a line-up consisting of Makalele and Viera doesn't need Rooney chipping in with the defense - he needs to stay in the forward position. But he blows hot or cold, so I'd rather have Anelka or Saha instead of Rooney if Makalele & Viera are playing.

He'd be competing with Hargreaves for a space on the bench.
