Despite today's results, I still think they'll finish as they are now. But with fewer points between them. This win for Arsenal isn't going to make them start beating the smaller teams, and John Terry and Carvalho aren't going to recover miraculously from injury because Henry scored.

Liverpool won't win it Puro. It's been their quest for almost 2 decades now and sadly, it's just a case of the little boy who wanted a pair of roller-blades but never managed to get them. <Ale>

Shocked You're calling Liverpool (easily the most successful English team EVER) a "little boy". Biggrin

I think that applies to Chelsea. Liverpool may just win it this year. I saw the future before the season began, and witnessed Liverpool winning the EPL trophy 2006-2007. Biggrin <Ale>

most successful domestic team ever, but haven't won the league in almost 20 years (hence why I called them the 'little boy' of the last 20 years) Very Happy Ale

Anyone would think Liverpool and Man Utd have had shoe-string budgets way the fans carry on.

They are still amongst the top-5 richest clubs in Britain.

um .. you can also, keep the trophy if you win 3 in a row

hence why Ajax and Bayern have the 'badge of honour'

oh, if Bayern win this year .. they get to keep 2 (like Real Madrid)

Yes i know this word is totally unfamiliar for you to comprehend, a buget is an allocated amount of money given to be spent. I realise this is a headache for you to understand but thats what 99.99999 % of business's in the world use.

Why on earth do people always compare achievements of the past? scratch

Are Keegan, Rush, Dalglish, Grobbalaer, Charlton, Best etc all playing today? No.

If you want to compare the past of teams, try the last 5 seasons in the league for the last 5 seasons (Chelsea have finished higher than Pool in 4 of those Ale)

I really cannot predict it - I know that Arsenal won't win it though.

Before Xmas, i thought Chelsea's superior squad would wear United down, but it appears to be going belly-up down that way.

United are still vunerable, and 'Pool have the best run in, and are making up the ground like I said they would at this time of the season.

Manchester United i believe can finish with 93 points.

If they win all their games

and; draw against Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea ..

or finish with 91pts, if they pick up another draw..
