Which league leaders will not finish top at the end of the season

Man Utd - ahead by 6 points with 14 games to go
Barca - ahead by GD and a game in hand with 18 games to go
Inter - Ahead by 11 points with 18 games to go
Lyon - 14 points ahead with 18 games to go
PSV - 11 points ahead with 13 games to go
Werder Bremen - Ahead on Goal difference with 17 to go.


Come June which of the above teams will not be the league champs?

If I were a betting man I would put my money on Bremen.

PSV - 11 points ahead with 13 games to go -> 99,5%

Werder Bremen - Ahead on Goal difference with 17 to go -> 33%

Barca and Werder are too close to call at this moment.

Pre-season picks: River Plate (lost to Boca Jrs, they will win Clausura 2007 though), Salzburg, Club Brugge, Cruzeiro (lost but will win 2007), Universidad Católica (lost but will win Apertura 2007), Brondby, Barcelona-Ecuador (lost), Liverpool, Lyon, Werder Bremen, Panathinaikos, Inter, Cruz Azul (finished top in Apertura '06-'07 but lost in playoffs), AZ, Rosenborg, Cienciano, Porto, Rangers, Barcelona, IFK Goteborg, Zurich, Galatasaray.

River Plate lost to Boca Jrs in the standings, but the champions were Estudiantes in the one game playoffs.

I think only Bremen. I'm still confident we'll recover and win the league, irrespective of our progress in the CL. When it comes to do or die games in April/May, I know for sure they players will produce more Werder Bremen like performances.

More seriously, Inter, PSV and Lyon look nailed on. Barca may benefit from being dumped out of the CL after only two more games, so they'll probably just about hang on. Man U have a tough run in, so anything could happen there. I hope that Bremen win it, but I really don't know about that one.

I can't see Brugge, Brondby, Pana, AZ, Rangers achieving it.
