For me as a Spurs fan I think Big Tom Huddlestone must be included in the next england squad does anyone agree?

ahh no, a Spurs fan.....
Huddlestone needs to do more....he's starting to show hes a good player, but I dont think he should take the place of Hargreaves yet.

Huddlestone is one for the future for sure but I think its best not to include him just yet, you don't want him to get too big headed.
Someone that I feel has been overlooked for far too long is Barton - he definately has the class to at leasst be an option on the bench.
Another player is Darren Bent who for my money hasn't been given enough opportunity yet

Barton gets a from me.
If Gerrard is going to stick to the right then the 4 central midfielders should be Hargreaves, Carrick, Lampard & Barton.

Huddlestone should stay in the U21 team for the time being.
Barton, Barry, and Milner i think deserve a squad place. Barton as a replacement for Jenas, and Barry and Milner are both good versatile squad players.

Milner
Another good call although he could do with maybe one more year in the under 21s before progressing and maybe being let down with getting few chances

none of this barton, nolan, huddlestone, barry nonsense for me.
they won't get playing so there is just no point making a stampede for their call up.. I wouldn't really care whether they deserve one or not if I was mc'claren
Dyer is about the only name Id advise because he has an actual chance of being involved

With Jenas Injured someone else will hav to replace him and i think Barton is prob better than Nolan and as for Dyer I wouldn't waste my breath on that thug

They should bin the idea of an English national team - we're a joke.

You should get Toshak in when he's done with Wales, atleast then you'd play attractive football.

I disagree there matey, i think you've overlooked the benefits of young players like Milner and Huddleston experiencing being involved in the England set up and also getting to learn their colleagues style of football and for that matter McClarens philosphy for the team.
Just because they dont play does not mean both parties (player and coaching staff) do not take away something positive from the experience.
