As it is currently the transfer window. Who do you think your clubs best and Worst signings for the last ten years has been. I think for Spurs it's signing aaron lennon from leeds for 1M as he must be worth at least 10m now. Any else pleased or gutted with a clubs purchase

There's been so many I don't know where to start, however I reckon signing Cesc was probably the best move. Got him for £600,000 and hes probably worth well over £20m now

There really is too many to mention.

Even Henry at 11 million looks a bargain.

As Tweeds has already mentioned, Cesc looks a great bit of business from our persective. But Kolo Toure was bought for 250k and is now one of the best in Europe. Ljungberg also only cost us 2.5 million and he has given us so much over the years.

Van Persie at 2.5 million also looks a snip now.

From the past Peter Schmeichel is a great shout.

For Arsenal Cesc was the best signing and Jeffers the worst when we're talking value for money.

2.5 M for Van Persie is a freaking bargain too. They're really nice people at Feyenoord. Coventry got Boateng for 380k. Celtic got Larsson for 600k. And I could go on for a while. How can they kick such friendly people out of the UEFA Cup?

The mother of all bargains. Ever.

Feyenoord must have been fuming a few years later when he picked up the Top goalscorer in Europe award.

Bergkamp was a revolutionary signing by Arsenal. (Bruce Rioch) Arguably our best player of all time. He was the symbol of the changing of the football club. When he first joined we were a midtable side on the decline. His last game was watching us in Paris taking part in the Champions League Final.

Reo Coker wouldn't persoanlly be on my list. But 250k ish from MK Dons still represents a very good bargain.

    Proud to have signed:
    Robert Pires
    Sol Campbell
    Dennis Bergkamp
    Thierry Henry
    Marc Overmars
    Freddie Ljungberg
    Cesc Fabregas
    Emmanuel Petit
    Robin van Persie
    Patrick Vieira

    Embarresed to have signed:
    Francis Jeffers
    Stefan Malz
    Fabian Cabellaro
    Richard Wright
Pascal Cygan (A bit unfair as he did well at times....)

    Wished we would have signed:
Samuel Eto'o (Wenger said recently that we were in for him around 2004)
Petr Cech (Red tape prevented us from signing this guy)

Red Tape - When you are restricted from doing something.

We couldn't get a work permit for him as he didn't have enough International Caps.

BTW Nice to see that you are honouring Ronaldo with that avatar - do change it back to the previous one soon. Wink
