But if a team with the best players always won a match, then a squad wouldn't matter, just the starting 11 and 3 subs. So should we rank them according to the quality of their best 14, or still the entire squad?

you can have 7 players on the bench

everyone gets injuries, if you have a better squad then you should cope better

i didn't say pick best 18 players

it can't be that hard to say which team has the better squad?

i just wanted to see if everyone had a similar view or not.
